Lemongrass is a bright, uplifting scent with a crisp citrusy aroma, perfect for clearing your mind and energizing your spirit. This perennial plant, native to Southeast Asia, has long been used for culinary, medicinal, and aromatic benefits.  The ONLY ingredients in this is pure ground lemongrass, elemi gum (a lemon-y smelling resin) and a smidge of powdered pine wood (for combustibility), makko (an inner bark that works like charcoal to keep everything burning), and acacia gum mixed with water for binding. This "mix" is layered onto raw untreated bamboo sticks 

Released on their label Scissor and Thread, the record finds a spiritual home in the soft-lit sanctuary of Public Records, Brooklyn, where sound is treated with reverence and space is part of the composition. Played on the worlds greatest sound system, speakers as art, Frank & Tony craft release that unfold with a patience, without a drop, or climax or ego. 

This isn’t music for 12am, it's for drifting conversations, walking home under city sodium light, for rooms where people move and listen. Public Records sets hum with a  restraint, grooves hold weight, melodies hold memory. Ethos is an album full of small shifts that carry such emotional heft. Each stick is made by grinding the herbs, flowers, and spices into a powder and then dipping the sticks in resin, rolling the ground herb onto the stick, and then sun-drying.

Packaged with eco-friendly handmade Lokta paper, made from the Lokta bush.  The bush is a renewable resource with the ability to regenerate within six years.
